Community engagement for this project will utilize a variety of strategies designed to collect input from a broad cross-section of residents. The primary goal is to use public input to foster equitable outcomes and to ensure the future development becomes a cohesive addition and true asset the neighborhood can be proud of.

Meeting Purpose:
This meeting will be used to present the most up-to-date site plan, project programming, and grocery store overview. The project team will also discuss community survey results. A large portion of the meeting will be allocated to Q&A and welcoming input from the public, as this will be the final public meeting prior to submitting the Land Use Application in November.

Meeting Purpose:
This kickoff meeting will be used to introduce the Truman Olson mixed-use development project to the public for the first time, summarize “what we know”, including the historical background and planning research done to-date, and gather feedback on community needs, interests, concerns, and values. The Rule Enterprises/Movin’ Out Development Team will share an overview of the project including site plan, neighborhood context, project programming, and grocery store overview.

Steering Committee Role:
- Develop an intimate understanding of the Truman Olson project.
- Provide insight and advice to the Truman Olson Project Management Team regarding community engagement, site master planning, and architecture.
- Share information about the Truman Olson project and associated community engagement efforts with the community and neighborhood residents.

- Advise on additional outreach and data collection activities to inform Truman Olson project.
